Description
Abstract
This dataset show landslide susceptibility for Puerto Rico, Vieques and Culebra Island. The original paper map was published by Watson Monroe, USGS 1979. The publication states also that almost all slopes greater than 50 percent have high risk of landsliding. Due to limitations of that time, these areas were not mapped. Now this dataset provides the areas on which the slopes exceed 50 percent.

Purpose
Depict landslide risk zones for risk evaluation and planning purposes.
